Japanese Garden Shawl
Wendy Johnson was selling this pattern to raise money to benefit the Japanese earthquake victims. When I saw this pattern I knew it was perfect for the Penthouse Silk Lace from Neighborhood Fiber co. It’s a really thin yarn, that was a little tricky to work with while stitching the first couple of rows. I had a hard time just getting the needle through the loops, and the knitting kept twisting. After a couple of rows those problems worked themselves out and it was a great yarn to work with. I wore this shawl when the girls and I went to see the play Wicked.
