OMG! It was bitterly cold the morning when I ran the Chilly Cheeks 5K. Proceeds of the race go to the American Cancer society. Dates to run were February-3. Since I was scheduled to work both Saturday and Sunday, February 1 was run day. Snow had fallen early that morning and winds were at 20-35 mph, skies were bright and sunny, but OMG, was it ever cold. The wind was either blowing at me, to the side of me or at one point pushing me along from behind!
